Watermelon, Basil, Mint Water

Watermelon-Basil-Mint-Water

This watermelon water is super refreshing and a great way to get rid of watermelon if your watermelon needs to be used up.

Watermelon, Mint and Basil Water
(serves a crowd)

Ingredients:

1 mini seedless watermelon
8 basil leaves
8 mint leaves
pinch of salt
1/4 teaspoon white wine vinegar
4 cups chilled water

Directions:

Combine watermelon chunks, mint and basil leaves in a colander placed over a large bowl. Using a metal ladle or spoon, press watermelon to extract as much juice as possible. We also used our hands, which is fun and the kids loved helping! (The remaining pulp should be fairly dry.)

Season the juice with sea salt and white wine vinegar and pour into a large pitcher. Add 4 cups chilled water, stir, and serve.
