Last summer, we began delivering farm boxes to areas around Salt Lake City. Along with bringing fresh, organic produce and natural groceries to our newest members, we've also partnered with some amazing local producers and artisans. Creminelli Fine Meats
For centuries the Creminelli family has passed down the tradition of crafting artisan salami in and around Biella, Italy. In 1975, Crisiano took over salami production in his father's Salumifico, under his watch the Creminelli family was recognized by Italy's cultural ministry as Artisans of Excellence. In 2006 Cristiano moved to Utah and immediately embraced the freedom this new world offered him.
The Creminelli Fine Meats company Utah journey started with just two hogs selected from Ballard Farm, but the focus on quality and humane practices has remained at the heart of the company ever since. Today, they continue to source their pork from family-owned farms where animals are raised in open environments, fed a vegetarian diet, and never exposed to antibiotics. This commitment to ethical farming isn't just about the food; it’s about supporting the health of the ecosystem and the well-being of the animals.
