Because of You

In 1992, our mother, Kathleen Barsotti, founded Farm Fresh To You, delivering farm-fresh, organic produce to homes and offices. It was her belief that an important part of sustainable agriculture is connecting people to the land that grows their food.

After a courageous nine-year battle with breast cancer, our mother passed away in 2000. As a way to honor her memory, the Kathleen Barsotti Non-Profit for Sustainable Agriculture (KBNP) was created in 2009.

As it was always very important to Kathleen to give back to the farmworker community, one of the goals of KBNP is to increase the resources that are available to farmworkers and their families.

A special thank you to all who join on our farm's efforts and generously help make our KBNP Backpack Program a success - year after year! Due to your support, we were able to donate over 1,000 backpacks to local farmworkers’ families for the 2023-24 school year. Each backpack was filled with age-appropriate school supplies. It has been very exciting to watch this program grow dramatically since the first year!

Again, we are so honored and grateful for the outpouring of generosity from our farm box community. Thank you for supporting our non-profit and a better way of farming!
