Goat milk is the secret ingredient to their gentle, moisture rich soaps and all natural skin care line that can be used on your hands, body and face. How great is that?

Their business and farm is a labor of love. This Mother-Daughter team raises their French Alpine goats, or “chivas” on their modest one-acre farm in Fillmore, where they are hand-milked twice a day.
“Chivas” means “female goats” in Spanish. They chose this name because they use goat milk in the majority of our products. Plus Donna, who speaks Spanish fluently, and used to be a High School Spanish teacher, has traveled to Spain and is generally enthralled with the Spanish culture.

Several times a year, Donna and Lauren open the Chivas farm to the public, offering tours of the soap-making facilities, homemade cookies and lemonade and adorable photo ops with goats, pigs and tortoises.

Although many people initially come to the farm to learn more about natural skin care, “it’s often the first step of many towards a more natural lifestyle”, said Lauren when talking about her favorite part of her job.

In addition to goat milk, fresh herbs are grown in their garden and combined with all-natural, essential oils and fair-trade shea butters to create captivating combinations. Some of our favorite blends are included in the Fall Soap Trio - a set of 3 fall-inspired scents: Cinnamon Clove, Mandarin Lime, and Vanilla Almond.
We also love the Limited Edition Beer Soap Trio that includes Wild Billy (patchouli, citrus and cedar), Golden Ale (unscented) and Oatmeal Stout (vanilla-almond). These simple soaps are a no-fuss 3-in-1 for your face, body and hands.
