We’re excited to welcome spring with fresh Snap Peas from 5th generation Tutti Frutti Farms! The Caldwell family business is located in the Santa Rita Hills of Central California and grows a variety of certified organic vegetables, from heirloom tomatoes and peppers to cool weather crops like artichokes, peas and greens.

Chris Cadwell and his family started farming on 14 acres of hillside property in Carpinteria, tending a variety of fruit trees. They named the farm Tutti Frutti, Italian for “all fruits.” They soon branched out into growing produce as well, utilizing organic farming practices. In 1988, they became CCOF certified and have been ever since.

Over the years, Tutti Frutti farming operations have grown to approximately 300 acres, serving local farmers’ markets and sharing their produce with Farm Fresh To You members, as well. Tutti Frutti attributes their success to their unique location on the Santa Ynez River. The farm is surrounded by wilderness, providing a wealth of natural predatory insects. Just fifteen miles inland from the Pacific coast, an ocean breeze minimizes mildew, while evening fog slows the ripening process, creating naturally flavorful fruits and vegetables. Through the planting of cover crops like vetch and clover, Tutti Frutti is able to keep the soil healthy and nutrient rich for generations to come.
