Saint Benoît Creamery
Benoît and David de Korsak, two French brothers, founded Saint Benoit Creamery in 2004. Dedicated to the European concept of “terroir,” (meaning “food from a place,” reflecting the local foodshed, its customs and flavors). Saint Benoît uses only local ingredients, from the fruit preserves to the honey. The success of their products is in unique simplicity: creamy, organic milk and French-style yogurt made from pasture-fed Jersey cows’ milk, packaged in reusable glass containers.

It may interest you to know that cows’ milk naturally varies according to the season. For example, at some points of the year the cows’ milk contains more carotene, and therefore the cream layer is a buttery-yellow color. At other times of the year, the cream is whiter. Because their cows are pasture-fed, this greatly affects their milk. In the hot summer months, the ladies get pretty thirsty and drink more, producing a lighter color milk.
Truly, we can't say enough good things about this artisan product. If you are looking to support a small, local, land-loving family farm that produces delicious, organic dairy products - then consider adding Saint Benoît milk and yogurt to your next delivery.

Straus Family Creamery
Straus Family Creamery was founded in 1994. It is a family-owned and operated business, dedicated to making the highest quality and minimally processed organic dairy products. Their dairy and creamery are located in the small town of Marshall on the Northern California Coast and were the first certified organic dairy west of the Mississippi River and the first 100% certified organic creamery in the United States.Straus Family Creamery organic butters are made in a 1950's butter churn with organic cream, no coloring or additives are ever used. This old-fashioned style of making butter takes a lot longer. With a high butterfat content (85%) and very low moisture, you’ll love using their butter for cooking and baking because it doesn't burn as easily as other butters.
We definitely appreciate the extra effort and can taste the difference and the quality.
Once you drink up your delicious milk products, remember to return your milk bottles for a deposit credit. Just thoroughly rinse the bottles and place them on your front porch for pickup by 8pm the night before your next Farm Fresh To You delivery.
